Beware when comparing Overfloor boards - although they may all look similar that is where the comparison ends. Our competitors supply EPS100 or EPS150 which is a soft packing grade material.
WUNDA EPS 400 KPA Overfloor boards are the strongest available and laminated with thick 200 micron aluminium for ultimate Rapid Response®.
20mm Boards require 16mm Pipe; 16mm Boards require 12mm pipe.
Wunda low profile EPS 400 Rapid Response® Overfloor boards are 400KPA high compressive strength boards with a 200 micron thick aluminium coating. 200 microns will give optimum system performance, aluminium any thicker than 200 microns offers no performance gain and system performance will plateaux.
MAPEI & INSTARMAC approved for tiling directly onto - NO intermediate layers or levelling screed required!
Wunda's EPS 400 overfloor boards are lightweight, super strong, easy to fit and designed to be fitted over any existing or new floor. No specialist tools are required, they can be simply cut to shape using a fine toothed saw or craft knife.
Suitable for Laminate, Wood, Carpet Vinyl and even TILES.
Quick to install using Wunda Spray contact adhesive ready for use straight away.
Fully approved by Mapei & Instarmac for tiling directly onto.
- EPS 400 - the strongest EPS board available (400KPA)
- 200 microns aluminium for optimum Rapid Response® performance
- Mapei approved for tiling directly onto
- Easy to cut to shape with basic tools
- Eliminates the moisture, weight, mess and lengthy drying times of a screed Underfloor system
- Two sizes available: 20mm profile board suitable for 16mm floor heating pipe; 16mm board for 12mm pipe
Laminate and engineered wood can be laid directly on top or tiles can be fixed to the boards using Mapei approved adhesive. If you wish to carpet or lay vinyl a suitable backer board will need to be laid on the Overfloor boards.
Recommended maximum linear loop length of 100m (20mm board) / 60m (16mm board).
- Single @ £9.99 each
- Bulk x 84 (20mm) / 90 (16mm) @ £9.49 each
- Bulk x 168 (20mm) / 210 (16mm) @ £8.99 each
Rapid Response® and maximum heat is only possible with 200 micron aluminium

So what's a micron? It's simply a measurement of thickness where 1000 microns is equal to 1mm.
200 microns gives the best performance with rapid response, only requiring low temperature water often as low as 35 degrees.
100 microns will give you a good response in well insulated modern properties.
50 microns is not recommended and will give slow performance and may require supplementary heating as well as needing high temperature water.
Please note: Output and system performance is dependent on insulation standards and environmental conditions.
